777 Partners are confident of completing their takeover of Everton.

Sky Sports says in the last few hours they have received a letter signed by the Premier League in which it declares itself "willing to approve" the transaction for the purchase of the club provided that certain conditions are respected.

Those demands include the new stadium being linked to the financing for the club.

In Genoa, the holding company also owns Standard Liège in Belgium, Red Star FC which plays in the Championnat National , and the historic Brazilian club Vasco da Gama.

Now Everton are closer to being added to their stable.
