West Ham United boss Gianfranco Zola admits they were outclassed by Manchester United in yesterday's 4-0 defeat.
Paul Scholes scored the first with a trademark schemer, albeit with his left foot, in injury time in the first-half.
In the second-half Darron Gibson extended the lead with an even sweeter strike after a surging run by Ryan Giggs.
At which point the West Ham door swung clean open with Antonio Valencia and Wayne Rooney supplying tap-ins after the Hammers defence had been swept aside.
It left West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola saluting United's quality and revealing that England goalkeeper Robert Green had been substituted in the 72nd minute after vomiting in the goalmouth.
Zola said: "Their finishing was excellent, especially the first two goals.
"The first goal changed the game and the second was a fantastic strike. We tried to chase the game but I cannot be too hard on my players. They gave everything.
"Robert Green was feeling sick in the second half and he came off just before the third goal but I don't think it affected the goals afterwards."
