Didier Zokora says Tottenham's players are determined to defeat Carling Cup opponents Burnley and reach Wembley again.

"Last year I was at the African Cup of Nations when we were playing the semi-finals, so this game is very important to me now," he told the Spurs website.

"Going into the game we are the favourites, but we must be ready to win this leg because we are the home team and we need goals to take with us to Burnley.

"Friday's [in the FA Cup against Wigan] win was good for the confidence because Wigan are doing well in the league.

"And likewise, we need a win against Burnley to take confidence into our league match with Wigan next Sunday. This is why every game is equally important."

Didier was a key member of the side which claimed the league cup trophy at Wembley last year, and now he is looking to do it all again.

"It's everyone's dream to play in a Wembley final, and now we have a big chance to do it again for the second year running and qualify for Europe.

"We are looking to put on a good performance against Burnley on what should be a great night with fantastic atmosphere in front of our fans."
