Hakim Ziyech texted Todd Boehly pleading with the Chelsea owner to allow his PSG transfer to go through, it has been revealed.

The Morrocan's move to the French capital fell through in the final moments of the window as the Blues failed to send the relevant paperwork through on time, blaming an 'unforseen technical issue'.

Ziyech is said to be 'incandescent' with his current club with their relationship now on the rocks, says Sky Sports.

The Morrocan was even happy to contribute some of his own finances to seal the move and it was eventually approved before the late issues.

The winger was left stranded in Paris having arrived on Tuesday as he looked to seal his move to Ligue 1. It remains to be seen whether or not his relationship with his current club can be mended given the high emotions involved in the failed switch.
