Oleksandr Zinchenko and Thomas Partey will be part of senior Arsenal training this week.
The London Evening Standard says there's confidence the pair can make Arsenal's next game at Sheffield United next week.
Midfielder Partey has been missing since October with a thigh injury, while wing-back Zinchenko suffered a calf strain earlier this month.
The Gunners return to train today after Saturday's win against Newcastle.
The squad was given Sunday and Monday off after playing Porto and Newcastle in the space of four days last week.
