Zilliacus ponders Inter Milan transfer policy: Haaland or Pedri?

Thomas Zilliacus says he wouldn't seek to change anything regarding Inter Milan's football structure should his takeover be successful.

The Finn's investment company has secured $2.5bn in funds and an offer to Suning for Inter is expected this coming week.

He told Tuttosport: "Today the Nerazzurri have top-level management thanks to Marotta and Antonello, I also appreciate Inzaghi.

"They are doing a great job, the team is strong. Now I wouldn't change a single player. The Nerazzurri can win the Scudetto and the Champions League. But we can always improve."

Zilliacus also said: “To buy my favourite players, like Haaland, Mbappé and Pedri, you have to pay a lot of money. This is why I ask you, is it better to spend 150 million on one footballer, or 80 and 70 on two?

"I believe we should also invest in the talent of young people. This is how you grow your star at home."
