Leeds United are set to hire Zigor Aranalde to join new manager Javi Gracia's backroom staff.
The Spaniard has worked with Gracia at Watford, Valencia and Al-Sadd SC in the past few years.
He has also spent time at Brighton as a chief scout before he joined Gracia at Watford in 2018.
Aranalde does have an admirer in ex-Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster, who played under Gracia.
"He was top - an absolutely top man. He was very good at integrating himself amongst the players and becoming a bit of a shoulder to cry on," Foster revealed on his podcast The Cycling GK.
Leeds fans will be hoping the duo can help the club avoid relegation this term.
