Zenit happy to meet Arsenal price for Arshavin

Zenit St Petersburg are ready to push through a deal for Arsenal midfielder Andrey Arshavin.

The Daily Star Sunday says Arshavin was loaned out in February to Zenit after dropping down the pecking order at Arsenal.

He played TEN games, scored three goals and has said he would not discuss his future until after the Euros.

Zenit are now willing to match Arsenal's £3million asking price for Arshavin, 31.
