Zenit St Petersburg coach Luciano Spalletti has expressed interest in Bologna attacker Alessandro Diamanti.

The former West Ham United player is currently on international duty with Italy at the 2012 European Championships.

"Diamanti is a player with great technical quality," Spalletti is quoted as saying. "I like him a lot. They say he is valued at €12m and, in my opinion, he is worth every penny."
