The brother and agent of Mauro Zarate says Lazio risk missing the deadline to sign the striker permanently from Al Sadd.

"I am waiting for the phone call, (Lazio president Claudio) Lotito needs to tell me within June 30 that he has completed the contract," said Sergio Zarate.

"We had given him the deadline of April 30 to speak to the Arab club and find an agreement. That did not happen, so we have to go through the buy-out clause to release him from Al-Sadd.

"In the next 10 days, President Lotito has to send the money and I will only be relaxed after the cash has gone to Al-Sadd.

"Seeing as there is no money yet, I cannot possibly be relaxed. I have no certainty that Lotito will buy out the contract."
