After signing his new Real Zaragoza contract, striker Diego Milito insists his head was never turned by transfer speculation over the summer.

Milito was a target for Real Madrid, but he said: "They were only rumors, I found out through the press and it did not affect me. My priority always was to stay with Zaragoza, so I am very happy.

"If the interest was true - and I do not know if it was - it's flattering to me."
