Real Zaragoza striker Diego Milito is in Liverpool's sights.

The Times says Milito's name has jumped to the top of manager Rafa Benitez's shopping list after being told that his big-money targets such as Samuel Eto'o (Barcelona) and David Villa (Valencia) cannot be considered.

Benitez is understood to have had Milito watched against Real Madrid on Saturday night, when he will have done his chances of a move no harm after coming close to giving Zaragoza a memorable victory.
