Inter Milan veteran Javier Zanetti says the next stage in his life will still be with the club.

The captain turns 40 next August and is thinking about his future when he finally stops running up and down the pitch.

"I spent half my life at Inter and now it's a part of me," he told Olé.

"I will come back to Argentina for Christmas or to work with my Foundation, but I've built my life in Italy.

"I'll continue to work here as a director. I have made the decision. I'll always come back to my country, but my life is in Italy.

"I made the decision along with my family and received the utmost support. My children grew up in Italy, while Inter gave me everything as a player and a person. My destiny is at Inter."
