Inter Milan captain Javier Zanetti hailed their spirit after victory over Lazio.
It all looked to be going downhill today against Lazio when Julio Cesar was sent off after just 21 minutes and Mauro Zarate converted the penalty.
However, they fought back to win 2-1 despite playing with 10 men and having replacement goalkeeper Luca Castellazzi limping throughout the second half.
"It was a victory of the whole group, one of character. This side never gives in and it showed," said captain Zanetti.
"This is a great win against an excellent Lazio aside despite everything that happened. Naturally, we are truly happy."
