Barcelona fullback Gianluca Zambrotta admits he's unimpressed by Roma captain Francesco Totti's behaviour towards the Italy team.
Juventus have confirmed Claudio Ranieri as their new coach and handed the former Chelsea and Valencia boss a three-year contract.
"I don't want to cause any controversy, but if you care about the blue shirt then you must care about it all of the time and not just in the important games.
"This is just my point of view though and not a criticism."
Inter defender and fellow stopper Marco Materazzi is just keeping his fingers crossed that Totti's words were misinterpreted.
"I don't think Francesco said that he only wants to play in the crucial games and leave us during the less important ones," said Matrix.
"He is now making himself available to return to the Italian national team and it's up to the Coach whether to call him up or not.
"However, all this talk of Totti and Alessandro Nesta [who is set to retire from international football] is the wrong way to prepare for the Lithuania game on Wednesday, where we need the three points."
