Napoli striker Marcelo Zalayeta has suffered a home burglary.

So far this season, Napoli teammates Andrea Russotto has lost his BMW and Marek Hamsik has had his Rolex watch stolen, although fans clubbed together to ensure it was replaced.

And now former Juventus hitman Zalayeta is counting the cost after his house was burgled while he was sleeping.

The intruders made off with an Audi R8 from the Uruguayan's garage and a number of valuables from the house in Lago d'Averno.
