QPR left-back Yun Suk-young is keen to make his first-team return from injury after playing for 90 minutes in the Under 21s' 3-1 victory against Nottingham Forest on Friday.
The 25-year-old South Korean international missed the start of the season due to a knee problem but is determined to force his way into Chris Ramsey's plans.
"It has been a long time for me to not play football, so I am very pleased," he told the club's official websiteafter Friday's win at Loftus Road.
"I didn't play during the pre-season so I am happy now to make this progress."
"It is always going to be very hard when you have been out and not been able to train, to then play games like this," he admitted. "It was difficult but we won both matches so I am happy.
"I feel I am getting close now to match fitness, perhaps 90%. I know I need to work hard in training to get there."
"I have found it very frustrating to not be able to play for QPR," he confessed, "but now I hope I can at least be on the bench on Saturday. I really want this, and I really want to be able to help the team."
