Younger brother of QPR's Hoilett enjoying 'crazy' MLS Combine process

Jaineil Hoilett admits the MLS Combine has been a 'crazy process' as he strives to win a professional contract.

The 22-year old former Canada youth international received a late call-up to the scouting showcase in Fort Lauderdale last week before getting some minutes on the weekend.

The younger brother of QPR winger Junior Hoilett said it had been a frenzied few days but the former Blackburn Rovers, St Pauli, Mainz and FSV Frankfurt youngster was enjoying going about his business of impressing the MLS talent scouts.

"It's been a crazy process," Hoilett told MLSsoccer.com.

"Of course I would've loved to have the heads up so I had time to prepare, but I'm just happy to be here and have a chance."

the c Hoilett, who has been described as a 'livewire' at the Combine, also indicated that getting picked up by his local team Toronto FC would be a dream come true.

"That would be excellent. I would love to play for my hometown," he added.
