Young gun Spence offered new deal by West Ham

West Ham United are keen to keep hold of highly-rated defender Jordan Spence.

The Hammers have offered the 20-year old full-back a new contract as his current one is set to expire at the end of the season but reports suggest a number of Premier League rivals are interested in his services.

Spence has done well during his loan spell with Bristol City and is a chance to depart Upton Park on a free transfer if other clubs come in for his services.

But West Ham have made it clear they want to retain the England youth international by offering him the new deal.
