Tyias Browning reveals that he sees himself playing as a centre-back in the future.
In the absence of Seamus Coleman, 21-year-old Browning has done a very good job at right back and the youngster is proving to be a more than capable deputy for the Irishman.
Despite his good performances on the right side of defence, however, Browning has revealed that he wants to establish himself as a central defender as his Toffees career progresses under Roberto Martinez.
"Obviously, I'll play where I'm told but long-term I see myself as a centre-half," Browning told the Liverpool ECHO.
"I've been here and there with call-ups for England. And when I've been picked, I've not been picked consistently and they would always play me in an odd position.
"It all depended on where they saw me best playing and a lot of people assume that I'm a right-back when, in fact, I prefer centre-back."
