Yerry Mina to be forced out of Barcelona by Arthur deal

Yerry Mina is under pressure to keep his place at Barcelona this summer.

The Colombia defender made his debut in the draw with Getafe last weekend, helping Barca to keep a cleansheet in the process.

However, Sport says Mina could be moved out on-loan next season to make room for another non-EU player.

Brazil international Philippe Coutinho is now in the process of gaining a Portuguese passport, with the decision made in part to help Barca complete their deal for Gremio midfielder Arthur Melo.

Coutinho's camp are confident he will be granted EU status, though if his application is rejected then Mina will be forced out to make room for Arthur.
