DeAndre Yedlin admits he's sticking close to Tottenham teammate and fullback rival Kyle Walker.

The young American was signed in January as Walker's deputy but is not expected to make his first-team debut until the start of next season.

Yedlin said: "I think Kyle and I are similar players - a lot of people say that. I pay attention to a lot of what he does, not only on the field but off it, too.

"What time he gets in to training, what time he leaves, what kind of stuff he eats, how long he is in the gym and what his training habits are.

"He's been my closest friend at the club. He's been excellent and I'm fortunate to be able to work with him."
