Yaya Toure is upset having to leave Manchester City for Ivory Coast's African Nations Cup preparations.

The City star and his brother Kolo must link up with the Ivory Coast tomorrow in the UAE ahead of the African Nations Cup.

Boss Roberto Mancini offered to fly them there after the game but his proposal fell on deaf ears.

And Yaya said: "I am very sad. Missing the FA Cup derby is a real pain after I have spent weeks trying to seek a solution.

"But the Federation would not accept us leaving it to Sunday. I am suffering a lot over this."
