Xherdan Shaqiri concedes he's thinking about his future at Liverpool.

Shaqiri missed most of pre-season with injury before running out for 30 minutes against Lyon in Geneva at end of July.

The Swiss attacker, who played 11 minutes coming off the bench in the Community Shield against Man City earlier this month, has told of his disappointment with the Langenthaler Tagblatt.

He said: “I'm disappointed that I did not play any more. Nobody likes to sit on the bench.

"It's clear that I want more time. I have to look at the situation and find a solution."
