Xavi has warned Barcelona fans to stay grounded after their 5-0 thrashing of Bayern Munich in Germany this week.

The midfielder said: "Josep Guardiola is delighted with us as we are working as a team, everything is easier. If you run 5 or 10 meters to help your teammate, everything is easier and you can enjoy keeping the ball more. There are no secrets. In football everything is simple.

"We have not won anything, only an extraordinary game, and nothing more.

"It was fantastic. The fans also enjoyed it. Everything is better. The mentality of the team this year is extraordinary."
