Everton chief Keith Wyness has outlined plans for the club's success in the future - with the academy front and centre.
He told evertonfc.com: "The ambition is to be in the top six and sometimes you will push forward and do really well. There is the old cliche of 11 against 11. We have beaten sides from the top four at some stage in recent seasons so we can compete in a given season.
"A new stadium is crucial to us. We are working very hard on a new stadium right now. The majority of the fans voted for the move to the new stadium. They all can see that in this modern era of football a suitable stadium and the revenue it brings is crucial.
"It will make a big difference. One simple number: Manchester United have 204 boxes, we have 12. That gives you an idea of the kind of revenues we are missing out on right now.
"We are hoping there will be at least an additional £10m a year coming into the Club, if not more (from a new stadium)."
