Wrighty: Liverpool boss Klopp antics upsetting rival managers

Arsenal legend Ian Wright believes Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is upsetting rival managers.

The German oversaw a stunning 5-1 win at Brighton yesterday, with wantaway star Philippe Coutinho the star of the show, scoring once and providing three assists.

Klopp was ecstatic with his side's performance but his opposite number Chris Hughton was less than impressed as he confronted him after the game.

Wright wasn't surprised by the Brighton manager's reaction and thinks Klopp should start showing more respect to his opponents.

“The thing with Herr Klopp when you score four or five and the fist-pumping and the gurning kind of gets to you," he said.

“I'm sure there are other managers who feel the same way about him. He's doing people's heads in."

Despite his anger at his behaviour, Wright was hugely impressed with the way Klopp has got his team playing.

He added: “They are unbeaten in six, winning five, scoring 19 goals, they are just so quick.

“They have everything in that front three and you've got Mane on the bench. If you can keep Mane on the bench, something must be going right.

“Mo Salah, Firmino and Coutinho are just full of pace."
