Wright-Phillips: Don't blame Hughes for Man City slump

Shaun Wright-Phillips says the players, not Manchester City manager Mark Hughes, are at fault for their current slump.

Wright-Phillips said: "No matter how much quality you have, hard work is the basis of everything. You need to get a team where everyone is working hard. Then, even if someone isn't playing well, he can help by getting round the pitch and tackling. That is the side of things we are trying to get right.

"We've let ourselves down as players this season. We've lost concentration at key moments and it has cost us. We conceded a sucker punch against Everton last weekend and it hurt us as much as it hurt the fans. 'There's a lot of quality in our team. As long as we're all working hard for Mark Hughes, it will be fine."

amen man. Except who the ***** is gonna want to play for us now? besides money grubbin types, robinho needs to be dropped for a bit. And ian daly needs a run, caicedo also

Roll on January....

problem is, only half of you are working hard for hughes, the other half are guttless whiners worried about being replaced.

It Blame the half that could not give a tos about City or us City fans & i also blame the British Media for making us out to be a Circus & unsettling the half of city that have fpucked up.
