Wolves winger Hunt: Man City rely on Tevez

Stephen Hunt was delighted to mark his home debut for Wolves with victory over Manchester City.

Hunt, who played for 66 minutes and admits he's still not quite at 100 per cent match fitness following his long-term injury, believes the crucial three points takes the pressure off Wolves amid a clutch of hugely challenging fixtures.

"I played better that day for Hull to be honest," he told the Wolves website. "But in games like this it is all about what happens on the day.

"That is why we love football - if we thought that Man City would win every week then it wouldn't be worth turning up.

"I think we got a little bit of encouragement from the game when Blackpool played well against them. Blackpool scored a couple of goals against them so that gives you hope but at the same time if they turn it on you are in deep trouble.

"I think that Tevez was a big loss for them because he is outstanding. It takes the pressure off us a bit as we are on a difficult run of games.

"But we can go to Manchester United now with confidence now."
