Wolves striker Raul Jimenez happy to be back on scoresheet

Wolves striker Raul Jimenez was delighted to score in victory at Norwich City.

Raul went four Premier League matches without a goal before the trip to Norwich, but the Mexican always backs himself and was back in the goals, firing home a loose ball nine minutes from time.

He told the club's website: “I had some matches without a goal, but I never lose the faith. I'm always there in the zone and I know the goal is going to appear some time. So, I'm very happy to score the winning goal and help the team to win the three points. Scoring goals is important. Three points keep us there, it's a big win.

“We knew that if we wanted to win, we had to change our mind, change our football, return to our basics that all season made us win the games, and being as a team, as we are.

“We changed the mentality. We knew that the first-half wasn't us, the football we've been showing all season. The second-half was better, we were looking to score, to win the game and at the end we won and are there, fighting at the top.

“We are very happy now because our second-half was much better than our first. The second-half was the team that we really are, and at the end the two goals made us win the game and we are very happy for that."
