Wolves striker Raul Jimenez hopes he will be able to return from his head injury.
Jimenez suffered a fractured skull after a collision with David Luiz of Arsenal last month.
Now he is on the road to recovery after a successful operation.
The player, who is now back home, is banking on returning to the game sooner than later.
The Daily Mail has claimed Wolves will give an update on his condition sometime this week.
"We continue to be on the lookout because it's something very difficult, but thanks to Raul's strength, he's coming forward," the player's father, Raul Sr, told Mexican newspaper Record.
"He's somehow happy to know of the difficult situation that he's leaving and that thanks to the good and timely intervention of the doctors in England, they did to him what could be done and he's recovering in good spirits and highly motivated."
