Wolves striker Kevin Doyle has backed manager Mick McCarthy's stinging retort to Arsene Wenger, branding the Arsenal boss a hypocrite.

The ex-Reading man is adamant Wenger has no right to complain when he regularly fields Arsenal's kids in the domestic cups.

Doyle added: "He can't have it every way. This is the same as when he puts out a so-called weaker - a youth team - in the League Cup. Do Arsenal get singled out then?"
