Wolves skipper Roger Johnson believes he hasn't be at his best so far this season.
The £4.5m defender put through his own net in the 2-1 defeat at Liverpool and was involved in both Newcastle goals, as Wolves lost by the same scoreline last time out.
He said: "Personally, I'm not at the top of my game yet and I'm the first to hold my hands up about that.
"I've had a word with the manager about it - it's nothing I'm willing to share, but I'll work through it myself.
"Something is not clicking at the moment and we've got to put that right."
