Wolves signing Halford excited about his record label R & R

Wolves' new signing Greg Halford has revealed time away from the pitch is devoted to his record company.

"I've invested in a record label called R & R, which was well publicised after my goal against Hull in the FA Cup!" said Halford.

"One of my best mates, Paul Rose, is manager of a couple of bands and he got me on board and interested. Music has always been a passion of mine and it's a hobby outside football, but I'm also looking to the future."

And it's a future that he's ultimately hoping to shape through the two bands currently on their books.

"One band is a soft rock act a bit like U2 called Oswald which are hitting the United States at the moment and looking good," he said.

"They're based in Scotland but they're trying to break into the States. We've also got a boy band called Vice who are trying to break through in the UK.

"They're based all over - one's from Liverpool, one from Russia and one's from Essex but they've got a good blend."
