Wolves are lining up a double raid on Middlesbrough to lift their survival chances.
The Daily Mail says Wolves are putting together a package for Boro pair David Wheater and Gary O'Neil.
Wheater, 23, who is also a target for Aston Villa, has always been at the top of manager Mick McCarthy's January hit-list.
But he is now eyeing up O'Neil as well after losing out to West Ham United in the race to sign Steve Sidwell from Aston Villa.
Middlesbrough are keen to ease their wage bill next month and O'Neil and Wheater are two of their biggest earners.
