Wolves owner Steve Morgan steamed into the players after defeat to Liverpool this week, it has been revealed. The Daily Mail says Scouser Morgan entered the dressing-room after the final whistle and gave Mick McCarthy's squad a fierce dressing-down, calling what he had just witnessed "unacceptable".

Morgan had also branded recent performances as 'unacceptable' when he was quizzed shortly after revealing details regarding the new facilities in the re-constructed North Bank at Molineux.

And he used similar terms before an astonished group of McCarthy's players. It was the first time during his five year ownership of the Black Country club that he had entered the changing-rooms after a game.
