Wolves offer Adama new low-ball deal

Wolves have offered Adama Traore a new contract worth less than his current deal.

With his contract expiring at the end of the season, the winger has been free since January to agree a move to an overseas club at the end of the campaign, but has yet to do so, says the Daily Mail.

Wolves would like to keep Traore but the winger turned down the chance to become one of the club's top earners, on close to £100,000 a week, when Tottenham were showing interest nearly two years ago.

The proposal currently on the table does not match the one he turned down in 2021.

That has left Traore well down Wolves' pay scale as he is still on the same salary he accepted when joining the club from Middlesbrough in 2018.
