Wolves and Nottingham Forest are watching Espanyol defender Cesar Montes.
The Mexico international only joined Espanyol in January.
La Gradad de España says three English league clubs are closely following the Mexican in order to sign him in the upcoming summer market: Wolves, Nottingham Forest plus another unrevealed club are said to be on the list of potential suitors.
The same source revealed that there is nothing concrete in terms of a deal, but that both English clubs have already approached the Spanish side to enquire about the World Cup player in Qatar 2022.
Montes has a release clause of €30 million and his contract runs until the summer of 2028.
