Wolves legend Steve Bull is delighted seeing Matt Jarvis earn a first England call.
Bull is the last Wolves player to play for England.
He wrote in his column for the Daily Mail: "It says a lot for Mick McCarthy and Wolves too that he is in there when they have had such a tough season and are in the bottom three.
"He has brought him through and got the very best out of him. Matt is the first Wolves player to play for England since me but I imagine he will find it easier to adapt. I was so nervous because I was a player in the old Third Division linking up with the best players in the country.
"I made my debut against Scotland at Hampden Park, coming on to score. It's unbelievable. You put your club shirt on and you've got 20,000 or so people cheering you but you put an England shirt on and you've got the whole world looking at you.
"Matt will find it easier than I did to adjust because he will have met all the players from playing in the Premier League.
"I might give him a call before Saturday to offer some kind words and try to calm any nerves he has. But even if I don't, he will be fine."
