Wolves fullback Jonny happy to mark 5 years with club; ready for Spurs

Wolves fullback Jonny says they go to Tottenham today determined to play their own style of game.'

Jonny marks five years with the club this month.

He told the club's website: “I am so excited here. It's my fifth year here now, but it's like the first year, I feel like a kid in the Premier League. I bring these things and you know they work for me, so I keep going and keep learning about everything. I love going to every stadium and playing at home."

On their trip to Spurs, Jonny added: “We, of course, will go there to battle, to fight, to play well, to go there to play our football, play well, and when face to face, try to win the game."

The defender has hopes of now being injury free this season.

"It's difficult, of course, and especially when the injuries are close, one to the other one. Everyone who was close to me was there to help me a lot – teammates, physios, my wife, and this is the most important for me.

“Now, I want to keep moving forward try to play the most games possible. I don't think about this just in the football, I try to enjoy the most I can."
