Wolves are eyeing Espanyol defender Cesar Montes.

The Mexico international joined Espanyol in January, but will be put up for sale after their relegation.

AS says Wolves are keen, where manager Julen Lopetegui has received glowing reports on Montes from his confidants in Spain.

Espanyol paid €8m Monterrey for Montes in January and will seek to make a profit.

Real Mallorca are also keen, where Mexican coach Javier Aguirre is in charge.
