English Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers last night defeated Celtic 2-0 in a friendly at Parkhead.
Neil Lennon did not use one starting player from the Scottish Premier League's opening weekend win over Hibernian, preferring to have a number of trialists take on Mick McCarthy's Wolves.
Goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa was at fault for the first goal when Jamie O'Hara's 26th minute free-kick found the back of the net and although it was well-taken, the former Tottenham loanee seemed to be in a poor position, making Lennon's decision on whether or not to keep him a very interesting one.
The second goal came from an own goal from youngster Filip Twardzik who deflected Stephen Hunt's free-kick into the back of his own net in what was a fairly tame hitout for both sides.
