Wolves have rejected reports they were lining up a move for Sammy Lee as a replacement for Mick McCarthy.

Reports on Sunday suggested Wolves supremo Steve Morgan was considering a move for former Bolton boss Lee.

McCarthy's future has been the subject of speculation after a poor run of form, but Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey says the latest rumours are rubbish.

Talking to the club's official website, Moxey described the reports as "wholly inaccurate" and "not worthy of debate".
