Wolves defender Daniel Jones will remain on loan with Bristol City after signing a contract extension.

The 23-year old joined the Rovers last month for an initial one-month loan but will now stay at the Memorial Stadium for the remainder of the season, pleasing chairman Nick Higgs.

"We are delighted to secure Daniel's services until the end of the season,” he told the club’s official website.

"He has done a great job helping to stabilise the back four, and has also shown a talent for getting forward and linking well down the left with Jeff Hughes.

"He has slotted into the team very well, and we hope that continues over the last 11 games of the campaign."
