Christophe Berra sees tonight's international friendly with Luxembourg as the chance to start anew for Scotland.
The Scots go into battle for the first time since 2009 without Craig Levein at the helm following his sacking last week and Wolves centre-half Berra believes it can be a fresh beginning for the national team under caretaker Billy Stark.
Berra feels the best tonic for Levein's demise will be simply to go out and produce a big win over the Red Lions at the Stade Josy Barthel.
"It's just something we have to take on the chin," he said.
"As players we will be looking forward to the game, getting a good performance and a win.
"We have all had experience of this beforehand at club level and international level.
"As soon as we get out on the pitch we'll just be looking to get a win and score a few goals.
"We have had a couple of training sessions that were really good, nice and sharp and short.
"It's been a good tempo and all the players that have come in have done really well."
