Wolves have clinched an agreement for Sporting CP goalkeeper Rui Patricio.
The Mirror says Wolves have taken advantage of a loophole to snap up Portugal No.1 Patricio on a free transfer and save £18million.
Promoted Wolves unsuccessfully bid £18m for Sporting Lisbon's keeper earlier this summer.
But the shot-stopper has since successfully terminated his own contract at Sporting after being among a group of stars abused by angry fans.
His move has enabled Wolves to snap up World Cup shot-stopper Patricio, capped 70 times by his country, on a four-year contract.
