Wolves chief Jez Moxey has welcomed the capture of Marseille defender Roland Zubar.

Moxey said: "It's been a really busy and hectic time, but we are generally thrilled to come out at the end of the week by signing Ronald from Marseille.

"From the very outset Mick wanted to sign Ronald and it's been difficult and challenging, because there was competition for him and it was another international transfer which are always difficult.

"He is a great athlete with a tremendous pedigree who has played in the Champions League and played in a high pressure situation in Marseille for three seasons.

"Coming to Wolves in the Premier League won't faze him and he is a genuine guy, who is very excited about being here."
