Wolves captain Coady: We'll long remember Man Utd result

Wolves captain Conor Coady says the players are bouncing this week after their win at Manchester United.

It was the club's first victory at Old Trafford since 1980.

Coady told the Wolves website: “It's a result we'll remember because you don't often come here and get the chance to win because it's an incredible football club with incredible players. We made sure we stuck to the plan the gaffer set us, and the lads were brilliant.

“We'd not had a game for a few weeks, and we were chomping at the bit to get back playing, I'll be honest. We were gutted the games got postponed, but we knew we had to be ready coming to this place because we know how tough it is, from when we've been here in recent seasons.

“It's always a battle, always a low-scoring game, but we had to be together, we were playing against some incredible footballers, and I thought the lads did that today. I thought we dug in, defended and at the same time I thought we had control of the ball which was impressive."
