Wolves boss O'Neil: Victory at Spurs fantastic for fans

Wolves boss Gary O'Neil was delighted after their 2-1 win at Tottenham.

Joao Gomes struck the goals for Wolves on the say.

O'Neil said: "The gameplan was already set. We didn't change anything. The way they played and they roll the full-backs in then we knew we could get [Hwang Hee-chan] and Pedro in behind and we thought we could play through the press. We pretty much envisaged it how we got it.

"Not personal pleasure. Just pride in the group and what we are trying to do and the feel around the place. To go to Chelsea and win 4-2 and then to come here and win with the players they had available is another fantastic moment with the Wolves fans.

"I think we have to improve in games where teams sit behind the ball and make it difficult for us. I have watched the top sides struggle against Brentford to break them down [like we did] so we have struggled in those games. We tried to be compact when we don't have the ball and then be aggressive with it today. We look a really good side."
