Wolves manager Mick McCarthy is confident he can secure some signings before the January transfer window ends in just over a week.
McCarthy admits the club has tried hard to bring in new players to strengthen the current squad with Hull City's Stephen Hunt and Stoke's James Beattie both linked with a move to the Molineux but so far they have come up short, although he insists there will be action before February.
"We've done all we can to try to get the players we want," McCarthy told the club's official website.
"At the moment we can't do it, but I haven't given up on anybody at all.
"I'm sure there will be some business done between now and the end of the window."
